Last Saturday, on the Cinco de Mayo, we planted our ward garden in the Hess' backyard. Some families from the ward also planted individual rows which they will take care of throughout the summer. The Service committee has some other plans for ways we can spend time as families working in the garden this summer. When the crops start producing, everyone will be able to take home some of the produce. Below are a few photos from the great time we had spending some time in the garden.
